We continue to receive guidance from the CDC, as well as Wisconsin and Grant County Depts. Of Public Health as we make decisions on the care and safety of our residents and staff. Currently Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Fennimore is COVID free and will update our pages if anything changes in the future.
The staff of Divine continues to work hard to keep all the residents safe and healthy. The Environmental Services Dept. continues provide increased cleaning of the facility. The Activity Dept continues to create new and engaging activities to combat the stress of quarantine. The Dietary Dept. continues to prepare tasty and nutritious meals that are required to be served in resident rooms rather than serving a full dining room. The CNAs and Nurses are vigilant in providing cares while monitoring for any change in condition or signs of infection.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their kind, encouraging words, donated items to the facility, and provided food/snacks to the staff. It has meant so much to us all. Hopefully, if we continue to work hard and be vigilant, we will be able to again open our doors and see you all again soon.
Please post this with todays date of 8/19/2020
Congratulations, Team Divine for receiving another DEFICIENCY FREE COVID Infection Control Survey!!!!!
TO ALL the Healthcare Heroes of Divine – THANK YOU ALL for going above and beyond each and everyday for our residents!!! YOU ROCKED IT!!!
On 8/13/2020, a case of COVID-19, the illness resulting from the novel coronavirus, had been diagnosed in a resident of our facility. On August 11th, we completed facility wide COVID testing on all residents and staff, and the results were breathtaking. Our testing results proved all staff and all residents are negative for the COVID virus.
The resident who initially tested positive, but then negative, is still in quarantine. We have notified public health officials as required and are following procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
We must also take a moment to recognize our staff for the concern and commitment they have shown to our residents during this challenging time. Developments are changing day by day, minute by minute and staff have done an amazing job keeping up with the constant changes.
Thank you for the continued prayers and support
Dear Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Fennimore Family,
Thursday, 8/6/2020 a case of COVID-19, the illness resulting from the novel coronavirus, has been diagnosed in a resident of our community.
The resident is in quarantine. We have notified public health officials as required and are following procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. We are taking every step as recommended by authorities to contain the spread. We want to make residents, their families, and our dedicated staff aware of this situation and reassure everyone that we are on top of it.
Developments are changing day by day, minute by minute. Our focus remains on the health and well-being of our community. We must also recognize our team for the concern and commitment they have shown to our residents during this challenging time. Our mission has never been more meaningful.
We ask that our residents and staff do all that they can to support our community by following the recommendations set forth by the CDC:
• Social Distancing/staying home if possible
• Washing Hands for 20 seconds with soap and water
• Self-isolating if showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19
• Seek medical assistance as necessary
Thank you all for your support. Follow us on Facebook “Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Fennimore” and our website www.divinefennimore.com for updates.
Regards,
Beth Keeney
I hope this letter finds you healthy & safe!
Divine Rehab has a separate area dedicated to Covid-19 recovery to best accommodate all residents in the facility that require care during this time. As our testing increases,we will be moving residents as required, temporarily, into a designated recovery area and once medically cleared they will be able to return to one of the other units. In transparency the facility currently has 1 resident in the facility that is positive for COVID-19, 0 pending.
We will continue to track these numbers and inform you of the changes as they occur. Please know that all residents that test positive or are suspected of having the virus are being safely quarantined from all other residents. Everyone is being vigilant with PPE usage and we continuously encourage safe social distancing.
We know how hard it is, especially during this pandemic to not be able to visit and see your loved ones. Any family that would like to arrange for a facetime phone call can either contact the activity department of leave a voice mail at 608-822-6100 ext. 29416.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and pray that everyone stays safe and well.
Sincerely,
Management
